When we have received your lease order, our work begins. We routinely order a credit report on the person(s) who will sign the lease.

If you have provided a reference to your current or prior landlord, it is likely that we will contact him/her. Some form of certification may be required before the lease is signed, e.g. from your employer. When a lease is ready, the move-in date on the rental agreement applies as the first payment date. The rent is always paid in advance.

Student housing - special requirements
Upon signing a lease for student housing, you are required to confirm that you are studying, or have been accepted for studies at Luleå University of Technology. An acceptance letter or valid student union identification constitute valid confirmation. If the agreements have been sent to you, you should enclose a copy of your acceptance letter or valid student union identification when you return your signed lease to us.

Note that in connection with the lease signing, you should have a valid householders' comprehensive insurance policy. This also applies to student housing.
